COVID-19 Response and Impacts

Company Update | 21 Apr 2020

For more than 35 years, Aquatec has lived by a core value to care - “Care underpins every decision and action we make as a whole and as an individual.” This enduring value guides us as we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy workplace and client meeting places across the globe.

We will continually monitor the information, guidance and advice recommended by the Australian Federal and New Zealand Government, Department of Health and each State’s own Government based authority and health department. We will monitor employee absenteeism levels and will provide regular information to management and Directors to allow review of existing business continuity plans covering our business priorities and threats to maintaining service.

Aquatec will constantly evaluate the effects of any potential business interruption and potential delays to projects that are directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will work collaboratively with you to ensure as minimal impact as possible. This is an unprecedented worldwide situation which is completely out of our control and we will do everything in our best endeavours to mitigate these impacts. If there is a situation which will affect delays our Project Managers will notify you and work with you directly on this for the best outcome/s.

Aquatec values our ongoing partnership, and we wish to continue to work closely with you through this difficult and uncertain time ahead.
